His Kingdom – Philippians 3:20-21

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Philippians 3:20
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

He says our citizenship is in heaven. So is that where your citizenship is at? Are you longing for our savior to come from there? Now, I know that may sound like a silly question. However, it’s easy to get so involved in this world that we let that hope slip by too often. When we keep that day focused in the back of our mind, we are constantly reminded that this world in it’s current state is truly not our home.

So we long for the coming of Yeshua to set His kingdom up. A kingdom where righteousness will rule. A kingdom where He makes sure all is done right. A time where there will be peace. Real peace all over the world. So, are you longing for His return?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!

Here's something interesting to consider:
