Lovingly Share – Proverbs 13:10
Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.
Today, we are discussing a verse we’ve covered before but we believe this verses deserves a little more focus.
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Pride, whether you want to admit it or not, is the effort of belittling others. Even walking away from a conversation with shaking your head in disbelief can be taken by others as a form of thinking you are cutting them down.
You may be 100% correct on the issue at hand, but it’s not your job to convince someone of anything. Even if it’s in sharing the gospel. Your job is not to convince. Your job is simply to share the truth. When we feel obligated to convince people of something, we can appear overbearing in their eye’s and in turn appear prideful because they feel we are just telling them that they are wrong.
Remember, our job is not to convince. Our job is to lovingly share.
Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom
