Rights of the Overcomer – Genesis 3:22

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Genesis 3:22
And YHWH God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

Just after this verse we see where YHWH banished Adam & Eve out of the garden. Adam & Eve were kept from the tree of life after the fall. They could no longer eat from it. It wasn’t a one time deal. Meaning, the second they would eat from it they would live forever. If that was the case, then they had never eaten from it before the fall. And if it was a one time deal, do we really think that YHWH would have put the tree there with the chance of them falling?

It’s made to be a continual healing of the body when one continually eats from it. This is why it produces fruit year round in eternity according to Revelation 22:2. And this is why Yeshua tells the church in Ephesus that overcomer’s will get to eat from it.

So are you an overcomer?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!

Here's something interesting to consider:
