Secure Fortress – Proverbs 14:26

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 14:26
He who fears YHWH has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.

According to Proverbs 8:13, fearing YHWH is hating evil. Hating it. To completely despise it and want nothing to do with it. That is fearing YHWH. Showing a reverential awe and respect to the maker of the universe. When that is our attitude towards all that is evil, then YHWH is our fortress that we are protected in.

Notice how the verse says that our secure fortress will be a refuge for our children. One who hates and despises sin will be one who teaches their children the same. Those children will have a refuge that will never fail.

“He who fears YHWH has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge.”

Do you fear YHWH? I’m talking the Biblical definition. Leave a heritage that will last all eternity for your children. Even if you don’t have children yet. Doesn’t matter. Start building a heritage that you will be passing on now. It’s never too early to start.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom
