Seek Wisdom – Proverbs 8:17

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 8:17
I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.

Verse 17 is something that we really need to take note of. “I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.”

When reading this, I can’t help but think of Jeremiah 29:13.

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Do you seek wisdom? In the world we live in, knowledge is everywhere. A quick search on the internet and BOOM, knowledge is at your fingertips. But much of it is useless knowledge. Having knowledge can be a good thing, pending what that knowledge is. But that’s not wisdom.

Wisdom is basically the knowledge of how to act upon any given knowledge. It’s the right application of using knowledge. Have you ever heard of people saying someone else is only being “Book smart?” That means they have lot’s of knowledge. However, the everyday know-how of life just isn’t there. They’re smart, but not necessarily wise.

So, do you seek after knowledge or the wisdom in how to use knowledge?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time. Shalom
