Until the End – Hebrews 6:10-11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Hebrews 6:10-11
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.

Verse 10 sounds very encouraging. In fact, I’ve seen many refer to this verse to comfort themselves and others for the work they have done for the kingdom. However, verse 11 puts it in perspective. The author said to show the same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. Meaning what? You can’t expect your efforts of yesterday to get you past your calling of today.

Remembering our triumphs from the past can be great. Yet, we can’t rely on them. We are to remain faithful to the last minute. To keep ourselves on the path until we see Him. To be diligent in what we know we are to do till our last breath. To stay faithful to the end.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
