180 – Ezekiel 33:18-19

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Ezekiel 33:18-19
If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.

So what can we learn form this verse? First, if you are walking in righteousness, you need to keep walking in righteousness. It’s not a one time deal. If you choose it one day and then not the next, there is no difference between you and the unbeliever. I realize that may sound harsh but it’s true. We have to remain in Him.

Lastly, if someone is walking in wickedness and chooses to turn from that wickedness to walk in what is just and right, they will have life.

The bottom line is that we are not guaranteed salvation. Neither are we condemned for past mistakes if we choose what is right before it’s too late. So where do you stand today? Are you continuing in Him? Or could it be time for a 180 in your life today?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
