Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalms 127:1
Unless YHWH builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless YHWH watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

You know, we can plan, prepare, and do all we can as humanly possible to make something happen, or to prevent something from happening. Yet, if YHWH isn’t in it, what’s the use? Grant it, nothing on this earth really lasts and there are definitely seasons in our life where YHWH brings change, but the point in this verse is that if we are not allowing YWHW to be in charge, can we really expect YHWH to bless what we are doing?

Look at the example we have with Ezra and Nehemiah in rebuilding the ruins of Jerusalem. They were constantly having to watch out as their enemies were doing everything possible to keep those walls from going up.

We should be encouraged when going through hard times. The enemy wouldn’t be bothering you if you weren’t being a threat to him. But the mere fact that he is on your case and working through others should be a joy. Just make it appoint that YHWH is your master builder and that He’s the one who is truly watching guard for you.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
