Harm’s Way – Galatians 6:14

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Galatians 6:14
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Paul made it a point to constantly give reminders to all he knew to walk humbly before YHWH. Sometimes I think because we see those reminders so often, we tend to not let them impact our lives the way they should.

It seems we may think we don’t need to learn that lesson again because it’s the basics right? However, maybe we need to take to heart the reason why Paul gives so many reminders about it. How many times have you fallen to the same sin over and over? You knew it was sin. Yet, you fell to it again.

So is it really out of reason for Paul to constantly remind us that we should be dead to the world and the world to be dead to us? Should we really approach it as something basic or even elementary? Or should we approach it as something lethal and a constant danger around every corner? If it is not looked upon in that light, we are putting ourselves in harms way.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
