Behind the Scenes – Exodus 3:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 3:7
YHWH said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.”

Ever felt like YHWH doesn’t hear your prayers? Ever felt like you’re all alone in this big crazy world? The Israelites felt the same way.

This verse is where we see YHWH talking to Moses at the burning bush. YHWH was working in their deliverance. He had already planned it out and was now putting it into action. Yet, did the Israelites see what He was doing? No. Did they have any idea what His plans were? Not a clue. All they knew was injustice and the hopelessness of feeling that YHWH didn’t care, didn’t hear and was no where to be found.

If you’re struggling with those feelings right now, don’t give up. He hears. He sees. He’s working in ways you simply can’t see. He’s planning things that you can’t even imagine. You need only to stay faithful. When you do, everything you’re going through will be nothing but a distant memory.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
