Against. Not With. – Titus 3:9

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.

There is so much out there that can cause division among brothers and sisters in the faith. There will always be something we all disagree on. Always. Until Yeshua comes and sets us all straight, things will be brought up that can, and most likely will, cause needless division and strife. Yet, that is the exact opposite of what the Father wants in His people.

Yeshua, himself, said a kingdom divided against itself won’t stand. Do we really think that Satan doesn’t know this too? Should we even be surprised this is something the enemy is using against us? No. We shouldn’t. The problem is that it seems so many are completely oblivious to this.

You see, the enemy knows if he can get us fighting each other, he won’t have to worry about us fighting him. He knows that if he can get us distracted on trivial issues that ultimately don’t matter, his fight will be much easier and far more successful.

So please, avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, arguments and quarrels about the law. Focus your fight against the enemy, not with him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
