Words – Luke 6:32-33

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 6:32-33
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even “sinners” love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even “sinners” do that.

It’s to be our love that shows we are Yeshua’s disciples. So are you showing love to all? Or are you only showing love to those who love you? If that’s the case, Yeshua says there is no difference between you and someone who is of the world.

Do you show love to those who disagree with you? Do you show love to those who talk about you? Or are you unleashing your venom of hate because you believe they are so wrong and they deserve to be hated upon? Regardless of how wrong they may be, does that give you the right to exemplify hate? Even a word of correction can be given in love. Think about that. Whether they claim to be a believer not, should we really let the evil speech of hate come out?

Whether the words are from your mouth or from your keyboard, they are still from your heart. Words are powerful. We should use them cautiously.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
