Be Very Careful – Ephesians 5:15-17

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Ephesians 5:15-17
Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

“Be very careful, then, how you live.” Be very careful. Those words should be shouted from the rooftops to every believer. I don’t believe these words can be underscored enough. I’ve discussed in the past how we should use wisdom in what we share with others. With that in mind, let’s jump down to verse 19.

19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” Ya know, we face enough negativity in the world as it is. So why share what the world may be doing? Let’s share the encouraging words that we all need to make it through in this world.

So what are we sharing every day? Positive or Negative? Are we inadvertently promoting the problem or helping with the solution?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
