On Guard – Matthew 10:17,18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Matthew 10:17,18
For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

For some reason, people who live in countries that currently have religious freedom think these passages only apply to the tribulation. Yet, many countries today have believers imprisoned, tortured and even killed for their faith. It’s hard for some to imagine that, but it’s true.

Regardless of where we are on YHWH’s time frame, these are verses we need to take to heart. A time may come where we may be handed over. We may be called to stand as witnesses to the nations in such a manner. If the nation where you live becomes hostile to believers, what would you do? That’s a heavy question, isn’t it? It’s a question that no one wants to think about.

Yet, that question can only be avoided for so long. We are told to be on our guard against the men that would do this to us. So, are you standing guard?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
