Peaceful People – Romans 12:18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Romans 12:18
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

So, are you living in peace with everyone? Sounds easy on the surface, but we all know that this can be a task in itself. Why? This is because there seems to be so many people who thrive off of making a commotion. Who thrive off of cutting people down because they don’t agree on something someone else believes in. So many people claim they are believers and pursue His ways, yet they don’t think twice at cutting other believers down.

How is that living in peace with others? Well, I’ll tell ya. It’s not. These people create tension, unnecessary strife and discord in the body of Messiah. And for what? To make themselves look good by putting others down?

Do we really think that YHWH approves of those cut downs and mocking? Allow me to remind us of a verse we covered before.

Matt. 12:36
But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

Live at peace with everyone.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
