Timing – Psalm 37:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 37:7
Be still before YHWH and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

You know, this can be a difficult verse to follow. When you see evil schemes being carried out, it can really weigh heavy on your heart. Whether it’s regarding something you see on a personal level or something you see in the governments of the world, we are told to be still and wait for YHWH.

It can seem depressing and downright unfair when you see evil schemes being carried out, especially for those circumstances on the personal level. Yet, we are told not to fret when we see these people succeed. So what’s that mean? It means you may see them succeed. But remember, we are told to be still and wait patiently on YHWH. Their success will truly be temporary, and YHWH will see to it that justice is carried out.

It may not be on your timing. In fact, odds are, it won’t be on your timing. Just be still and wait for Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
