How Far? – 2 Timothy 3:12-13

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Timothy 3:12-13
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Yeshua Messiah will be persecuted, 13 while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Nobody wants to think of having to go through persecution. However, this is something that we should expect when walking in the way of Yeshua. While there have always been evil men and imposters, I believe there is little doubt that we could truly be seeing them going from the bad to worse in the days we are living in.

If that is true, could we, or even should we, be expecting the persecutions coming as a result? If so, are you ready? What’s your level of commitment? Are you in the faith for only what you see as beneficial for you? Or are in the faith because you know it’s the truth? Are you willing to suffer for the name of Yeshua? Are you willing to stand for the truth in the face of persecutions?

How far are you willing to follow our savior in this life?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
