Your Part – Psalm 51:10

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

If there is anything that we all need, it’s a pure heart. A pure heart. A clean heart. A heart that is 100% sold out to YHWH. No selfish motives. No evil desires. A heart that allows no compromise what so ever. Is that your desire? Of course?

Yet, it’s not something that just happens over night. It’s something that is created in us. It’s developed. It takes time. It takes a willingness on our part as well. As YHWH pricks our heart on something, He expects us to respond accordingly. We can’t pray for a clean heart and not think He won’t be having something for us to do.

After that, it’s up to us to keep it clean. In fact, that’s the reason of David’s prayer for a steadfast spirit. To keep himself strong in keeping his heart clean. If you want a pure heart, get ready for your part.
