YHWH’s Will for You – Deuteronomy 10:12-13

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Deuteronomy 10:12-13
And now, O Israel, what does YHWH your God ask of you but to fear YHWH your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve YHWH your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 and to observe YHWH’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

Being a former youth minister, I can’t tell you how many times I heard teenagers say “What’s God’s will for my life?” But that question is not isolated to teenagers. It’s a question that we all have asked at multiple stages of our life.

Yet, all the time He had His will declared right here in Deuteronomy 10 for us to see. These verses are truly the prime example of defining His will for us. While many are looking for specifics in life direction, most often, unless He specifies to us, He gives us the freedom to choose what we desire for our life. As long as we are following these verses, then we are following His will for our lives.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
