The Land – Deuteronomy 11:11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Deuteronomy 11:11
But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. 12 It is a land YHWH your God cares for; the eyes of YHWH your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

Knowing this verse alone, can we really be surprised about all the tensions in the middle east over the land? There are many speculations as to why the land of Israel is special to YHWH. But if it’s special to YHWH, shouldn’t it be special to us as well?

I was once asked at a conference if I want to live in Israel. I replied “Yes. When Yeshua takes us all there.” If the land is special to YHWH, doesn’t it make sense that it’s special to the enemy as well? And because of that, we see all the turmoil over that land.

A time is coming when Yeshua will rule in the Land of Israel. Do you long for that day? Make that your desire everyday.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
