All Circumstances – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Give thanks in all circumstances. We’ve all heard it said before, and it really is true, there is always something to be thankful for. Even when things aren’t going as planned or even if they are going down right bad, we are to give thanks in those circumstances.

I know, I know, another one of those verses where it seems so much easier said than done. Yet, it’s in those times that may be difficult in our lives where we have to remember that we aren’t living “our” life. We’re living His life that He graciously gave to us to live for Him.

I’ve heard it said this life we have is a gift given to us by YHWH. How we live it is our gift back to Him. If you’re going through a hard time right now, as odd as it sounds, give thanks. He’s pulling you through something for your benefit. You may not see it now, but one day you will.

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is YHWH’s will for you in Yeshua.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
