Do You Believe In Love – John 15:9-12

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

John 15:9-12
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

If you believe something, you follow through with it. For example, let’s say a weatherman gives a warning there is a tornado heading right for your house. If you believe him, you head to the basement or the next best thing. However, if you don’t really believe him, you continue on with your daily routine.

Regarding us obeying His commands, Yeshua said “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” If you believe that, then you’ll obey His commands. And what did He say in verse 12? “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
