Clear Minded – 1 Peter 4:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

1 Peter 4:7
The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

If someone was to ask any of us why we don’t pray more, what would our answer be? Have you ever pondered this before? If there was one thing that stood out the most in keeping us from praying, what would it be? For the most part, most of us would most likely say we need more time. However, aren’t we given the same amount of time in a day that all believers had back when the scriptures were being written? Yes. Yes we do. So what’s the real problem here?

Distractions. There are so many things pulling at our time today it’s not even funny. Yet, please know something is not evil just because we allow it to pull us from our time with YHWH. The bottom line is how we prioritize those “things” in our lives.

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
