Context – Philippians 4:13
Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
I don’t know about you but I have heard this verse all my life. I’ve heard it mentioned in so many sermons in how we can do anything through Yeshua. The funny thing is I’ve never heard it preached on from the context it is given in. Let’s read the previous for that context.
So, verse 13 is all about being able to be content with much or with little. It’s all about being able to be content when well fed or being hungry. So, can you do this? Can you quote this verse now with the proper context that it was written in?
“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Does it mean something different to you now? In my opinion, it means a whole lot more.
Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
