Defense! – 2 Timothy 1:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

The enemy is all about fear. Fear can be paralyzing. It really can be. If we let it, that is. Fear comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes. From being scared of the dark to being scared to share your faith. You name it, fear will try to find a way into your life. So we have to ask ourselves if we’re letting fear paralyze us in any way in our life.

I once had a football coach that said “A good offense is useless without a good defense.” It’s really true. A team might be able to score points, but they have to keep the other team from scoring them too. That being said, what are we doing to prevent the enemy from scoring against us? What are we doing to keep the enemy from bringing fear in our lives. Examine your life today and see what steps you can do to prevent the enemy from bringing fear your way.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
