Delight YHWH – Proverbs 11:20

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 11:20
YHWH detests men of perverse heart but he delights in those whose ways are blameless.

Can you imagine the creator of the universe DELIGHTING in you. What an awesome thought. To think that He would DELIGHT in us. I get goosebumps just hoping he looks down on me with a smile on His face.

It makes me like a little child all over again wanting to win the approval of his dad. And loving every second of it when gives His approval. That’s really what it’s like. He is our Heavenly Father and we are His children and He delights in us when we pursue His ways.

If you’re a parent, I’m sure you can identify with this. Isn’t it awesome when your children do what they are told with the right attitude. And even more so when they obey when they aren’t told. It puts a big smile on your face and just makes you want to bless them!

So, don’t just think about doing what is right, follow through in your actions. As I’ve heard it said before, “If you don’t live what you believe, you soon will believe what you live.”

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom.
