Encouraging Words – 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.

In a world that seems to be growing darker by the day, these are encouraging words. They remind us of our hope in Yeshua’s return. Yet, how often do we encourage one another with this hope. I’ve only seen more debates on how or when it’s going to happen. Brothers and sisters, this shouldn’t be. Regardless of our views on this topic, lets start encouraging one another.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
