Endure – 2 Timothy 2:3

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Timothy 2:3
Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Messiah Yeshua.

Endurance. I’m reminded of that old saying “The race of life doesn’t go to the fastest, but rather to the one who keeps on running.”

Never giving up. Faithful. Sticking to it. Let’s face it, we’ve all wanted to throw the towel in here or there sometime in our life. Especially if that “something” was bringing hardship. Yet, when it comes to our faith, well, there just shouldn’t be an option of giving up.

We have never been promised an easy life just because we walk in the faith. In fact, we’ve been told that we would be hated if we Follow after Yeshua. Do we really think the enemy is just going to lie down and let us go without putting us to the test? Without trying to make us fall? Without trying to fill our heart with doubt? Without trying to do all he can to cause us to want to throw the towel in?

We are to endure like a good soldier. Let’s not forget that we are in a war. We are soldiers. The question is, “Are we a good soldier?”

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
