Ephesians 5:12 – Sharing – Part 3 (June 18)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Saturday. June 18th. The 7th day of the Hebraic week. And everybody says “HalleluYah”.

Our verse today is Ephesians 5:12.

12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Continuing with the same theme from the last few days, here we see that Paul says it’s shameful to even mention what the disobedient do in secret. So how much more should we avoid that which the world does in the open?

What good are we really doing the body of Messiah in sharing what sins the world is diving into? Seriously. Should we really be surprised at the world acting like the world? Should we really be surprised by people who are not following the Spirit of YHWH acting as if they are not following the Spirit of YHWH?

How will the Body of Messiah be edified when we are sharing the sin of the world? Who’s cause are we really promoting when sharing the sins of the world? Use your imagination here for a second. Imagine FaceBook being around in the days of Yeshua. Do we really think that He would be sharing what sins the world was diving into? Can you imagine Him sharing video’s on demon possession? Can you imagine Him sharing vulgar images of the “popular” people of the day?

Personally, I can’t see Him doing that. Of course, that’s just my opinion. But I still can’t avoid what our verse says.

12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
