Esther 4:14 – No Mistakes (July 20)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Wednesday. July 20th. The 4th day of the Hebraic week.

Our verse today is Esther 4:14.

Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?

This is such a popular verse that many refer to when we are faced with hard times. We all know that these words were spoken to Esther. However, the principle holds the same for all of us. Whatever circumstances we are confronting or see on our horizon, we must acknowledge that YHWH saw it coming first.

That being the case, do we really believe that He calls us to failure? Of course not. He calls us to rise above the circumstance. He calls us to grow deeper in Him. He calls us to dig deep and
brave the storm that rages all around. To face our circumstances head on knowing that He is our strength. Knowing that He is the one that will never leave us or forsake us.

Whatever circumstances we face in this life, may the phrase “For such a time as this.” never leave our heart. Because YHWH doesn’t make mistakes.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
