Exalted – Philippians 1:20-21

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Philippians 1:20-21
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Verse 21 is an extremely popular verse for many. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Yet, its verse 20 that I believe gets overlooked too quickly. Especially the part that says “so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body.” So is Yeshua exalted in your life? When someone looks at you, what do they think? Do they see the Messiah alive in you?

I’m not talking about when things are going good in your life. It’s easy to let others see Yeshua then. Yet, how well do you do when things aren’t going good? Can others see Yeshua in you then? If not, are you truly exemplifying our savior in your life then? Who do you exalt in those times?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
