Acts 18:24-26
Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.

I love these verses. They show us a real example of people not cutting someone down for being wrong on specific topic. What would this look like in modern day? Would Priscilla and Aquila be cutting Apollos down on FB? Would they be telling everyone to avoid Apollos? I think we know the answer to that. No. They wouldn’t.
They would go straight to him and talk to him in private. Just as they did back then. Before we start throwing the book at someone, maybe we should follow the examples it gives us first.
