Higher Ways – Isaiah 55:9

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Isaiah 55:9
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Let’s face it. Things don’t always go the way we think they should. There are so many times in our lives that we believe “this” should happen only to have “that” happen. How many times have we prayed for something to go a certain way and it seemed it just went the exact opposite?

Do we allow ourselves to get mad and frustrated? Do we allow ourselves to get down and depressed? All too often any of these emotions can fill our hearts when our own ways don’t come to pass. Why? Because we believe our ways are more superior. If we could let this verse ring through our hearts, think of the worry, concern, fear, frustration and so much more that could be completely removed form our lives. His ways are truly higher than ours. Can you trust in that? Even when you believe things should being going differently?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
