Hold on Tight – Exodus 14:23-25

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 14:23-25
The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. During the last watch of the night YHWH looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. He made the wheels of their chariots come off so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! YHWH is fighting for them against Egypt.”

I don’t know about you but I have always loved this part of the story. The part right when the enemy realizes YHWH is fighting against them. But here’s the thing. Many times this isn’t revealed until the last minute. Sometimes even the last second. I’m talking right when we feel the enemy is going to overtake us. Have you ever been there before? The situations can vary for all of us. Yet, it still tests your faith.

May we never forget this one thing. YHWH may miss a lot of opportunities to be early, but He’s never late. So when you think it’s over, just hold on tight.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
