Invitation Accepted – Psalm 95:1-2

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 95:1
Come, let us sing for joy to YHWH; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

What a glorious invitation. “Come, let us sing for joy to YHWH.” Singing to YHWH is such an awesome thing. When we focus on Him, it causes us to put everything else to the side. It causes us to see how small everything is in comparison to Him. Then, we just want to give Him praise even more.

But what if you don’t “feel” like singing to Him? Actually, that’s all the more of a reason for us to sing to Him. When things around us are dragging us down, don’t give in to those emotions. Lift Him up.

But let’s face it. Not everyone is comfortable with singing. It doesn’t mean they don’t worship YHWH. It’s just that singing is not their thing. That being said, the invitation still goes out to all. Whether you feel like it or not, we encourage you to accept the invitation.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
