Meet ’em Half Way – Acts 17:22-23

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Acts 17:22-23
Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.

This is a classic example of 1 Corinthians 9:22 that says “To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.”

Paul took something that the people identified with and used it to present the good news. He was reaching out to the people where they were. Do you do that? If your answer is yes, then how do you do that? It’s so easy to just present the truth on our level and expect others to grasp things from our point of view. But that doesn’t always happen. So please, be mindful to reach out to others where they’re at.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
