No Comparing – Romans 8:18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Romans 8:18
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Are you going through hard times? Are you in a phase of your life where you can’t help but wonder where YHWH is? Do you wake up in the morning thinking “How long, oh Lord? How long?” Whatever you may be going through in this life, it’s not worth mentioning in comparison to the glory that will be revealed in us when Yeshua comes.

Whatever He’s walking you through right now, just hold on and take comfort that at least He’s walking you through it. The time will come when this life will hardly be remembered. The time will come when these times we are going through right now will be long forgotten when we rest in His presence.

Yet, the goal is to stay strong through it all. To not let anything move us from what we know is coming down the road. That day will come, and we will indeed rejoice like never before. What a day to think about! That in itself should spur us on in Him. Just knowing that it really is coming.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
