No Difference – Deuteronomy 4:7-8

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Deuteronomy 4:7-8
What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way YHWH our God is near us whenever we pray to him? 8 And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws as this body of laws I am setting before you today?

Moses declared that YHWH was near them when they prayed. I have heard so many times growing up in church that it wasn’t until Yeshua died on the cross that we as individuals could have our prayers heard. Yet, right here we see that YHWH was near them and heard their prayers.

And then we see Moses declare the Law YHWH gave them through him was righteous. How many times have we heard that preached on in the churches growing up? Let it be known that YHWH is the same today as He was back then. His Law is just as righteous today as it was back then as well. There is no difference from today in comparison to back then. And just like Israel, we must choose to obey.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
