Noble Character – Acts 17:11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Acts 17:11
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

We all want to think of ourselves as a Berean. Well, we at least aspire to it anyway. Right? But how often do we really aspire to this?

Everybody studies to some degree on the Sabbath. However, we can’t make that the only day we study. We can’t make that the only day we get one on one with the Father. Don’t get me wrong. It’s a great day for that. In fact, it’s the perfect day for that. However, we can’t let that be the only time we really dig in to the scriptures and study. We can’t let it be the only day we get one on one with the creator of the universe.

Let’s make it our goal to have the Bereans truly be an example for us on a daily basis. Not a weekly basis or “as it fits our schedule” basis. Let’s make it a daily basis as it says they “examined the Scriptures every day.”

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
