Pay the Price – Proverbs 4:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

The verse says to get wisdom. But then it says to do whatever it takes to get understanding.

What is understanding? Consider what Proverbs chapter 9 has to say about it.

Provberbs 9:10
The fear of YHWH is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. So, in other words, though it cost all you have… get knowledge of the Holy One. Meaning, thought it cost all you have, get knowledge of YHWH. And how do we do that? Through the Torah! Through the prophets. Though Yeshua! That is how we gain that knowledge of YHWH.

“Though it cost ALL you have,” We’re talking total commitment. Giving up everything to get knowledge of YHWH. Do you have that commitment? Do you have that willingness to set the things of the world to the side to gain Him? How far are you willing to go to gain knowledge of YHWH? Are you willing to pay the price?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom
