Peace – John 14:27

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Yeshua told us to not let our hearts be troubled. Think about that for a second. There’s always plenty of opportunity for our hearts to be troubled. Yet, we’re not suppose to let that happen. We have His peace. Even though the enemy will do all he can to get us to lose our grip on peace, it’s always there for us. In fact, that’s why many believe Yeshua said “I do not give to you as the world gives.”

He gives peace for all who choose to follow after Him. Peace is something that I truly believe is underestimated and undervalued. Someone who has peace is someone who is far less apt to be shaken. Someone who has peace is someone who is far more apt to take steps of faith when others wouldn’t. Do you have His peace today? If so, what are you doing with it?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
