The Power of Praise – 2 Chronicles 20:22-23

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Chronicles. 20:22-23
As they began to sing and praise, YHWH set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another.

Our verses today show just what can happen when we give YHWH the praise he deserves at all times. He can turn a situation around in a heartbeat. Right when it can seem all is lost, the situation can make a 180-degree turn just like that.

Remember, whether you want to praise Him or not, He’s worthy. Whether you feel like praising Him, He’s worthy. Even if the situation around you makes praising Him the last thing on your mind, remember, He’s worthy.

We don’t necessarily praise him for the hard times we are in. We praise in spite of the hard times we are in. Is it easy? Of course not. It can be downright hard. Walking out in front of the soldiers armed only with your voice is not exactly the most natural thing to do, but it can bring some incredible miracles.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
