Preparation – Exodus 3:11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 3:11
But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

Interesting isn’t it? Moses felt he wasn’t capable of doing what YHWH called him to do. Let it be known it was indeed no small task what YHWH asked Moses to do. Yet, everything YHWH asks His people to do will be bigger than them. This forces us to rely on Him and reminds us to give Him the glory and not take it for ourselves.

You may feel you are insignificant, but you’re not. YHWH has placed you, or at least allowed you, in your current place in life to be used for him. Everyday is a training for the following day. Moses was trained in the ways of Egypt through all of his young life. So appearing before Pharaoh was not completely foreign to him. He knew the procedures. He knew what to expect to a certain degree. When YHWH asks you to do something, it’s because he’s been preparing you. Trust Him and watch Him work.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
