Press On – Philippians 3:13-14

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Philippians 3:13
Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Ever made a mistake? Silly question right? Of course you have. We all have. Some big mistakes and some small ones. And let it be known that you very well may make more in the future. But here’s the thing, we can’t let our mistakes in the past dictate our future. We have to press on.

We need to learn to let go of the mistakes we have made. We are to learn from them but not let them constantly beat us over the head. And just as much as we need to let go of our mistakes we have made, we need to let go of the mistakes from others in hoping that they will press on as well. When we press on together, we can conquer together.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
