Priorities – Deuteronomy 11:18-19

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Deuteronomy 11:18
Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

I don’t know about you but I kind of get the feeling from these verses that we’re to supposed make these commands special and important in our lives. So we have to ask ourselves if we do that. Do we truly make the effort to do what these verses tell us to do?

Do we make it a priority? Seriously. Do we dwell on these words in our hearts and minds everyday? Do we make it a point to teach them to our children every morning and evening or even when we walk about in our day?

With everything that the world throws our way in distractions, we truly have to make this something that we are determined to do. To make it a priority that never gets set aside.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
