The Question – Philemon 7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Philemon 7
Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

OK. I want to read this one more time. However, as I do, I want you to ask yourself if this verse could be said of you. Ready? Here we go.

Philemon 7
Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.

Has your love given others joy and encouragement? Have you refreshed the hearts of others? Think about this for a second. This very verse could have been said about Yeshua. Therefore, how much more then should we pray that it’s said of us?

When we see verses like this, we shouldn’t just breeze over them. I know it’s easy to do that. Mainly because many times we’re looking for something “deep” to learn. However, this is deep. It takes our walk in the faith to a whole new level. Maybe that’s the question at hand. Do we read just to learn or do we read to grow deeper in our walk with the Father?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
