When They Say Peace – 1 Thessalonians 5:3

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

1 Thessalonians 5:3
While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

In all of the opinions held regarding the end times, this has been a verse that many refer to. It is believed that this verse gives the beginning of the tribulation. Yet, I’m not sure they understand the weight of it. Regardless of the who, what, when, where, or how this verse comes to pass, it implies there will be a time where there is not peace and safety before hand. Meaning, there will be a time of war and unrest just before this verse comes to pass. In fact, it will be because of that time of unrest that people will come to say these words.

I’m saying there will most likely be a time of global unrest before the tribulation actually begins. If that is indeed the case, would you be ready for it? Remember, even some of the most faithful went through hard times and even martyrdom.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
