Seek First – Matthew 6:33-34

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Matthew 6:33-34
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Planning is always a wise thing. Yet, worry is completely different. It’s so easy to be consumed with the cares of this life. They can truly weigh us down. Yet, when it comes down to it, it’s all about priorities. Keeping first things first. When we make His Kingdom and His righteousness first in our life, there is no need to worry.

I know, I know, that can be easier said than done. However, it’s the focus we need to be mindful of. Keep your focus on Him as your provider and not on the things that are provided. The things of this world are temporary, but He is eternal. Plans can end up, well, not going as planned. But He doesn’t change. He will always be there.

Remember, planning for our future is using wisdom. Just make sure your faith is in Him and not your plans.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
