The Choice is Yours – Psalm 37:12,13

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 37:12,13
The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.

It seems that there has always been evil in the world that plots against the righteous. Yet, when all is said and done, those wicked reap what they have sown. As the next verse says, YHWH laughs at the wicked, because he knows their day is coming.

On the same token, Biblical history shows that YHWH lets the wicked succeed against people who know the righteousness they should be walking in and yet continue in their ways with a stubborn heart.

So here’s the thing, persecution and hard times are going to come whether you like it or not. The question is, are you going to have YHWH on your side to bring vengeance on your oppressors? Or are you walking in stubbornness? Are you self-justifying yourself in areas of your life that you know YHWH has pricked your heart on? If so, then YHWH will use the oppressors against you.

The bottom line is that we should want nothing to do with evil.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
