Thoughts – Luke 7:47

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 7:47
Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven – for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.

Yeshua says these words while at one of the Pharisees homes. The Pharisee invited him to have dinner. A woman who had been living a sinful life found out Yeshua was there. She came with a jar of perfume, and as she stayed behind Yeshua at his feet weeping. She began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. She also kissed his feet and poured perfume on them.

When this happened, the Pharisee who had invited him saw it. The Pharisee then said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is – that she is a sinner.” Now here’s the thing, Yeshua knew what the pharisee was saying to himself. He then gives a story to the Pharisee to show his judgmental attitude towards the woman.

If Yeshua was to correct you on some of your hidden thoughts, what would He say to you?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
